Felix Nevarez Rodriguez passed away peacefully on December 7, 2018 surrounded by family. He was the loving husband of Patricia (DeAmaral) Rodriguez for nearly 40 years. “Chico” as everyone called him, was born in Dorado, Puerto Rico and moved to America in the late 1950’s.
Besides his wife Patricia, he is survived by his children, Jessica Rodriguez Pereira, Lori Paquette, Jordan Perrault, Angelo Rodriguez, Dana Rodriguez, Felix Cory Rodriguez, and GinaMarie Rodriguez Doherty, 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 5 Sisters.
Chico enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends, was always happy and loved everyone! He read the newspaper and would play “his numbers” in the lottery and made sure everyone knew when he won. He could play the guitar, sing and dance and was a big fan of the New York Yankees and loved to play baseball himself. Many of his grandchildren have learned to play the game just like their Papa/Abuelo Chico.
Donations to assist with medical bills and funeral expenses, can be sent to his daughter GinaMarie Rodriguez Doherty at 10 Osage Dr. Middletown, RI 02842.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 6pm – 9pm from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave in Lincoln, RI. All Family and Friends of the Family are invited.
Funeral and Burial will be private
